How to Estimate Your Lawn to purchase the All in 1 Organic Lawn Care Program
To measure your lawn you need to go back to some basic math techniques you learned in school. You have to use the formula to find “area.” Area equals length times width. That’s it! In order to determine the length and the width of a section of your lawn you should pace off both measurements. Try to walk along the length of the section counting your steps. Most people step about three feet at a time so if you pace off 10 steps measuring the length of your lawn that would equal 30 feet. If you pace off the width of your lawn and get 20 steps then it is 60 feet. Multiply the two numbers to get the square footage of your front lawn. You now know that your front lawn is roughly 1,800 square feet. Easy! You can do that for each section of your lawn or just compare the other areas to what you got for the front. Remember, it doesn’t have to be perfect! If you don’t have perfect rectangular sections, which most lawns don’t, just try to estimate based on some easy visualization. If you have used a lawn care service in the past just call them up and ask what they have for a measurement.
